Daniel Island lies between the Cooper and Wando Rivers and the Atlantic Ocean, about three miles north of Charleston Harbor. With 23 miles of shoreline, it’s a popular place for boating, fishing and crabbing. Parks and paths make it equally appealing for biking, walking and jogging.

Daniel Island is the site of the Family Circle Tennis Center, which hosts the annual Family Circle Cup, one of the world’s best-known women’s professional tournaments, and Blackbaud Stadium, home of the Charleston Battery professional soccer team.
